About Angelica Harris

Angelica Harris was born April 23rd in New York City from a diverse European Family. She attended William Cullen Bryant High School where her love for writing was ignited by her schoolteachers before she attended Hunter College where she majored in Liberal Arts and Theatre. As a young woman Harris interned at the Roundabout Theatre Off Broadway in New York City.

She acted at her Community theatre and lent her Cosmetology talents doing hair and makeup and creating designs for many of the local shows. Harris also worked on the Sci-Fi Soap Dark Shadows. Angelica has always had a passion for Medieval History, especially the Arthurian Period.  She is the author of titles The Quest for Excalibur and Excalibur and the Holy Grail.

Harris had her first book revised in 2005 with her editor Andrea Howe. In 2004 Angelica partnered with Corey Blake, literary development director with LA Film Lab Entertainment and President of Writers of the Round Table Inc. for the development of her third book, Excalibur Reclaims Her King (Blake will adapt the screenplay in 2008 for production in 2009) Harris and Blake were recently invited to speak about their work at the Virginia Reading Conference.

In addition to her Novels, Angelica was recently commissioned by the Titanic Museum in Florida and Nova Scotia to further develop a short story/historical piece for display in the museums.

Ms. Harris enjoys Fencing and belongs to the Society for Creative Anachronism.  Though she was raised Catholic, Angelica enjoys the study of the Wicca Faith. In her third book, Harris has invented a Pagan language using the Druid language she studied from Celtic mythology to create the linguistics of the speech. She is most proud of her studies and promises that this book will be an adventure to her readers both historically and magically.
